Local employment model

A cornerstone of the Viewpoint business model is hiring people from particular localities to conduct surveys and research. We have expanded from our head office in Sheffield and opened up three satellite officers in three different cities where they deliver for locally based clients.

By opening up offices local to our audience and staffed by people from that audience, we’re able to deliver research with a unique understanding and level of communication.

The model works for councils and housing associations where we employ tenants and residents to conduct research and also for third sector organisations where we have been able to create employment opportunities for clients and service users.

We have a particular mission to create sustainable, enjoyable jobs for people who most need that opportunity. Amongst our staff team we have individuals with physical disabilities, mental health issues and visual impairments. This approach enhances our quality and performance levels because of the diversity of the people we employ and helps our clients achieve local employment targets.
